Major Goals of Overhaul
- Become central place for developers to go for information and news. High priority on content and ease of use to find the content.
- Remove team sites.
- Design overhaul by three55ml <andy@box5.net>, possibly a simple design to meet deadline.
Site Sections:
- News - Powered by Advogato code (mod_virgule), allows posting by anyone with proper certification, proposals can be added here too.
- Docs - Dev oriented docs only: API, Protocol, . All docs go through e-t for editing and DocBook SGML formatting (output in HTML by JADE using [eventually] customized Gnome Documentation Project stylesheets [modified cygnus stylesheets]).
- Dev Tools - LXR, Bugzilla, Mailing List info/links, CVS (will hold core code only, everything else on SF) info, IRC info
- Get Involved - Updated Dev Intro, link to account edit page
- Projects - mod_virgule's projects -- eventually edit to sort by defineable types (client, transport, etc.)
- People - mod_virgule's people
- Links - JC, Jabber.com, etc.
